The “CUL.T” project European Teachers Open Network

The European Teachers' Network "CUL.T" is a network of teachers from Italy, Albania, Croatia, France and Spain representing the following universities:

  • University of Camerino (Italy)
  • University of Tirana (Albania)
  • University of Zagreb (Croatia)
  • University of Côte d’Azur (France)
  • University of Valencia (Spain)

which was established as a result of the hybrid mobility that took place within the framework of the Erasmus+ project "CUL.T" - Strategic Partnership in the field of Higher Education (Agreement 2024-1-IT02-KA220-HED-000249904) in Valencia at University of Valencia from 21 to 24 April 2026 with the aim of consolidating relations and operational synergies in the research, higher education and work sectors by focusing on transformational team coaching as a common methodological denominator to maximise the training effectiveness of learning paths in European academic contexts.

  • Reducing the gender gap in women’s access to STEAM-related advanced digital skills that are increasingly valued in the European labour market.
  • Integrating humanities degree programmes with digital and technological approaches to teaching and learning in order to address the challenges of contemporary higher education, which is increasingly expected to be interdisciplinary and digitally oriented.
  • Bringing the employment prospects of humanities graduates closer to those of STEAM graduates through the curricular, methodological and technological innovation embedded in the “CUL.T” HE STEAM Curriculum.
  • Strengthening a structured connection between universities, research and development centres specialising in teaching and learning methodologies and technologies, and public and private organisations and enterprises in the cultural sector, in order to reduce gender inequalities in the labour market and enable women to fulfil their professional potential in the ICT-based cultural content production and communication sector.
  • Bringing together the solutions, methodologies and teaching and learning technologies tested within the Erasmus+ CUL.T project, all of which share transformational team coaching as a common approach and digital skills as an area of application for the integration of humanities disciplines, namely:

    1. A university curriculum aimed at developing advanced digital skills for cultural engagement among female students.
    2. Microlearning units and a gamified learning scenario designed to enable learners to acquire targeted knowledge in line with specific educational objectives.
    3. A Handbook serving as a practical guide for lecturers in delivering Digital Solution Design Labs and Work-Based Learning sessions, making use of action-learning dynamics to enable trained women to demonstrate professional behaviours by carrying out as-is to be analysis within creative and cultural organisations and co-designing digital innovation.
  • Transferring the teaching, educational and digital innovations that have been tested and developed into institutional systems in order to modernise education policies and promote good practice within the broader national and international context.
  • Contributing to the definition of content, models and tools for education and training that are aligned with the characteristics of the European economic and social system, from a global perspective, while helping to strengthen quality and competitiveness.
  • Developing and supporting the capacity of the Education and Training Offer System to respond in real time to training needs, as well as to emerging demands relating to content, methodologies and learning processes expressed by institutional and economic stakeholders — public, private and third-sector alike — as well as by individuals, thereby encouraging the development of innovative practices.
  • Fostering the internationalisation of its members, including through the promotion of exchanges of information and experience with universities and other European institutions and bodies operating in the sector.

Participation in the network is entirely free and places no obligations whatsoever on the higher education institutions involved. It simply represents an opportunity to cooperate in the field of higher education and in the innovation of both existing and emerging teaching approaches. To become part of the network, click here.

The network runs a group on the EPALE platform containing useful materials and resources on the main results of the CUL.T project. Anyone can be part of it and share their skills and research with the network. The network uses open source and free tools for 90% of its activities.
